- Cecile Verny Quartet – The Bitter and the Sweet [CD]
- Cecile Verny’s pianist has been using the Sauter Omega 220 in all their albums over the years. This particular album showcases the Omega’s ‘voice’ very well. Just listen to the piano solo in the middle of the first track. I told Ulrich Sauter that I like the sound of the Omega in this album, and he took it on board.
- The second track is interesting because the pianist plucks the strings of the piano with his fingers and also plays notes with fingers touching harmonic points on the strings. The extra register lines on the soundboard are meant specifically to help pianists find the harmonic points quickly and accurately.
